Week 4 - Tuesday 5 May

Maths: Quick Question Seini is making ula lole (lolly necklace) for her mum’s graduation, she has 256 lollies. How many more lollies does she need to have 520 lollies altogether? And/or: Problem Solving 75 is the Sum – use your addition facts knowledge to eventually use all the numbers on the grid and make lots of equations that = 75 (Link under Useful Websites).  And/or: Keep working on the games and activities on Studyladder, Prodigy and under Useful Websites that focus on basic facts knowledge.  This will help you to solve any maths problem.

Read or write: Spelling Continue working on your spelling lists and activities in the post on Monday. And/or: List It – let’s make some lists for writing Allow yourself 10 minutes each day to write a list.  You could make a list of: ·      Things that bug you ·      Things to do with covid 19 ·      Things your mum and dad always say to you ·      Things that could make a bad day better ·      Excuses for not doing your online learning (be creative) ·      Your favourite smells / sounds / memories

Be Creative: Family or Individual Photo Challenge -  time to be creative with a camera. See my attempt using googles 3D AR animals below.  You could try some forced perspective photography – Forced Perspective Photography for kids

Exercise: Continue working on Silone’s Challenge. And/or: Revisit the dice fitness challenge Mrs Harpur posted last week on Friday Funday -  Choose It Fitness.  That is going to my new favourite!
