Hi everyone, Alert Level 3 now - woo hoo:) So that means I am back at school. That doesn't mean you stop your online learning. Mrs Harpur will work with you at the end of the week and I will focus on Monday - Wednesday. So I'll still be involved in your learning and I still want you to keep in touch. There may be longer gaps between when I email back or post your sharing but it will still happen. Your sharing makes all this online learning worthwhile:)
Maths:

And/or:
Spelling
There are loads of spelling activities on Studyladder for all levels. Find an activity that will give you some success as well as add a bit of a challenge.
And/or:
Play a game of online boggle or use the picture below to create as many words as you can. You can go in any direction, just as long as the letters connect. Use the numbers on the letters to see how many points you can score. Start with the smaller grids first. Link under Useful Websites.
And/or:
Curl up with a book for 15 minutes.

Be Creative:
Create a face like the one below that shows different emotions. Create one of your own to teach young children to create some crazy characters. You slide the different mouths and eyes along slits in the face - a bit of problem solving to sort that out:)

Exercise:
Do the Les Mills Born to Move workout (Link under Useful Websites)
And/or…
Work on Silone’s Challenge (around 2km a day) –
Over 3 – 4 weeks your goal is to try to complete one of the awards:
Bronze Award - 10km/4 hours
Silver Award - 20km/8 hours
Gold Award - 30km/12 hours
You can send photos of you and your family out and about running or walking. Once your parents have verified you have met the criteria for an award Silone will present a certificate. At school she has a box of goodies to present for children who are getting out of their comfort zones, trying really hard, showing great enthusiasm and getting the rest of their family out and about as well. You could record your progress in a log with the date, the distance/how long you walked or ran, and include your parent’s signature.
