Online Learning 16.04.20

Hi everyone, it has been awesome to hear what you guys have been up to, keep sending in those emails.  Mrs Gregory asked me to add a link for the Choir and Uke group and I have popped it under the Useful Websites section.  Don't forget to give me feedback about the online learning activities.  Remember you can choose activities from other days as well.  Set yourself goals on how much you aim to do each day.  I have been doing the same thing, otherwise I could end up sitting in my PJs watching netflix everyday!

Maths:
Number of the Day
Today’s number of the day is 32 or 104 (you choose).
Make your chosen number as many of these ways as you can by:
1. Adding two numbers
2. Adding three numbers
3. Adding more than three numbers
4. Using a double, or a double plus or minus 1
5. Finding the difference of two numbers (subtraction)
6. Multiplying two or more numbers
7. Multiplying then adding
8. Multiplying then subtracting
9. Dividing one number by another
10. Using a fraction
12. Using another clever or different way
(Aim to get to number 8 at least.)
And/or…
Go onto to Studyladder or Prodigy for 20 minutes.  On Studyladder focus on rapid recall activities or mental strategies.  You can choose 2 digit or one digit activities.
Exercise:
Remember our fitness sessions with a deck of cards?  Every suit in the deck of cards represents a different exercise and the card number equals the number of repetitions.
  1. Spades: Long jumps (two feet together start and two feet together landing, soft knees)
  2. Hearts: Shuttle runs.
  3. Clubs: Bear Crawl (hands and feet on the floor and knees just above the floor) 1 number = 1 metre
  4. Diamonds: Mountain climbers
See if you can do 15 cards today.
And/Or…
