Maths:
Boggle – Use the grid (see right) to write as many addition and subtraction equations as you can based around these digits.  The numbers in the equation must be connected vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.  Equations involve two or more numbers, and one or more operations, but no number can be used twice.  One point is given for each number used in the equation, for example, 15 – 3 – 7 = 4 + 1 earns five points!  See how many points you can earn.

Today’s number of the day is 56 or 668 (you choose).  Now find….
10 more than this number is …..
10 less than this number …..
3 other ways to make this number (include X)
25 more than this number is …
Start at today’s number and count on by fives 10 times (e.g., 56, 61, 66, 71)
And/or…
Go onto to Studyladder or Prodigy for 20 minutes.  On Studyladder revisit some statistics learning from last term.

Be Creative:
Now that it is autumn, gather some leaves and create something beautiful.  No need to worry about glue or anything just rearrange the leaves on a plain surface.  Send some photos of your creations and I will put them on the blog.


Movement:
Family walk or bike ride, it is a beautiful day.
